Kathleen Shimeta to Present at NOA Conference in Boston

This January, Kathleen Shimeta will be presenting a poster at the 2026 National Opera Association Annual Conference in Boston. She will discuss the life, works, and legacy of Gena Branscombe, informed by over thirty years of research and experience.

Additionally, we are pleased to learn that 2024 Branscombe scholarship winner Emily Clements will also be presenting at the conference! Alongside her co-librettist Bonita Bunt, Clements will discuss Acts 1 and 2 of her original opera-in-progress, “Letters to Lily.”

More information about the conference, including registration information, can be found here.
