Dr. Russell to Write on Branscombe for Routledge Studies in Musical Genres Series

Our board member, Dr. Regan Russell, has been commissioned to write a chapter on Gena Branscombe’s piano music for Nineteenth-Century Piano Music by Women, a compilation of essays in two volumes for the Routledge Studies in Musical Genres series. This commission comes after her dissertation on Branscombe’s art songs, and is an exciting step in music history research and the promotion of Branscombe’s music.
